AMS DataSerfs is looking for an experienced information systems and technology professional to join the Team providing subject matter expertise on Cloud Support Operations. The Azure Support Engineer will tackle interesting Operational challenges impacting hybrid cloud systems around the globe in collaboration with a dedicated group of IS&T subject matter experts embedded within a fortune 50 Company.

You will be a member of a team which is responsible for the Adoption, Governance, Operations, Security, Monitoring, and Automation of hybrid Cloud Development Environments for a Fortune 50 company. In addition to a variety of internal environments, the team is responsible for external environments consisting of multiple globally diverse sites operating independently of one another in a highly available manner, consuming a variety of cloud services.

The basic scope is Operations Support of Hybrid Cloud environments. You will be responsible for maintaining asset and workload inventory, monitoring performance of workloads, maintaining operational compliance, protecting workloads and associated assets, recovering assets from performance degradation or business interruption, continuously improving workload performance, improving budgetary and design requirements of workloads to fit commitments to the business, developing and documenting standard operations procedures and processes, providing Tier 2 support for Internal and External Customers around the globe.

Job Description:

Maintain asset and workload inventory

Monitor performance of workloads

Maintain operational compliance

Protect workloads and associated assets

Improve workload performance

Recovering assets from performance degradation and business interruptions

Develop and maintain automation scripts and ARM Templates

Develop and document standard operating procedures and processes

Provide Tier 2 Support of hybrid cloud environments for Internal and External Cloud Customers around the globe

Work across organizational boundaries to coordinate with other subject matter experts and achieve shared objections

Required Skills:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language

· 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server Administration.

• Certification in one or more of the following technologies is a plus: MTA: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals, MCSA: Windows Server 2012, MCSA: Windows Server 2016, MCSE: Core Infrastructure

· 2+ years of experience with Azure or any of the major Cloud providers for Enterprise Customers.

• Certification in one or more of the following technologies is a plus: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified: SysOps Administrator Associate, AWS Certified: Solutions Architecture Associate, AWS Certified: Solutions Architect Professional, Google Certified: Google Associate Cloud Engineer, Google Certified: Google Professional Cloud Architect

· 2+ years of experience with one or more programming or query languages (Azure CLI, BASH, PowerShell, C#, C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, JSON, TypeScript, Kusto, SQL)
