Objectives:
S&OP RCCP (Rough Cut Capacity Planning)
Factory Build Plan and execution (internal and external);
Ensure Weekly Build Plan supports Master Production Scheduling and solve/ escalate any gap;
Manage factory performance;
Ensure overall MRP integrity;
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes, plans, initiates, and implements all B/E-related activities to ensure on-time delivery to support Allegro MicroSystems’ revenue and inventory objectives.
- Creates, analyzes, maintains, and closes Purchase Documents/ Work Orders to ensure the accuracy of MRP data in Oracle/ Rapid Response.
- Proactively identifies bottlenecks or areas that would delay deliveries for downstream production/ Finished Goods, and/or result in significant impact on MPS. Takes actions to prevent such delays and involves other departments and management as necessary to resolve issues in a proactive and timely manner.
- Fully understands all Work Center planning processes and proactively highlights issues which may impact Allegro MicroSystems supply chain.
- Manage Back-End factory execution decisions for both internal factories and external subcons to support MPS; Ensure Weekly Build Plan supports Master Production Scheduling and solve/ escalate gaps;
- Responsible to provide annual and monthly S&OP factory production plans and monthly forecast;
- Responsible for creating S&OP charts;
- Manage sourcing rule changes, both system and execution; Ensure System integrity;
- Work with factories for loading optimization;
- Factory On-Time Delivery performance management;
- Maintain and manage Planning parameters in MRP system; Work with factories on improvement plan;
- Work with Master Scheduling team on strategic inventory maintenance and attainment;
- NRE/Prototype/Engineering build management (including purchasing documents);
- Establish early warning process; Work with factories to provide recovery plan;
- Support business review scorecard;
- Highlight and drive activities to close CRD gaps;
- Manage the RCCP (Rough Cut Capacity Planning) model to ensure weekly Build Plan/ monthly S&OP is capacity feasible;
- Responsible to create and communicate the weekly build plans for Back-end Factories; Coordinate activities to solve capacity gap with other groups;
- Reporting factory performance and leading action plan for improvement
Education:
BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management or related field of study
Cdertification:
APICS certification preferred
Experience:
5+ year prior experience in capacity planning and analysis, or materials planning, preferably in the semiconductor industry. B/E Planning experience a Plus
Skills:
High level of interpersonal skills; detail oriented; data quality conscious; able to work independently and efficiently on various assignments under pressure; self-motivated; knowledge and experience on Oracle ERP and Rapid Response a Plus.
