  • Bimbo QSR is a commercial bakery facility that produces bun/bread products to quick serve restaurants and distributed throughout the US.
  • All new associates are hired as PART-TIME and must be available to work on any shift, including weekends and holidays if scheduled.
  • Bimbo QSR requires that all associates follow mandatory safety protocols
  • Part Time associates could work up to 40 hours per week with the possibility of some overtime.
  • There are two facilities (Airport and EastPointe) and associates can be called into work at either facility at any time (You must have reliable transportation).
  • Part Time associates can bid of Full Time positions (position, shift and pay rate) after successfully completing the 60 days probationary period. Full Time bids are awarded to the successful bidder by seniority and qualifications.
  • HOURLY PAY RATE is $19.11 Paid weekly.
  • Uniforms are provided after 60 days.
  • Associates are cross-trained in all areas of production to become familiar with all the different jobs (sanitation, shipping, indexer, tray feeder, utility, divider operator, mixer operator, packaging, etc.)
  • Physical requirements consist of: Lifting and carrying 50lbs, standing for an entire shift, bending, stooping, squatting and climbing stairs/ladders. Must be able to work around heights and some positions require the ability to operate a forklift safely (Certification Test is required)
  • All new associates are evaluated and must successfully complete the 60-days probationary period. This includes being dependable with excellent attendance, perform all jobs safely and be an engaged associate willing to learn.
  • You must join the Bakery, Confectionery and Tobacco & Grain Miller Workers International Union Local no. 57 and will have to pay a $100 initiation fee in the first 60 days and then $39 per month union dues.
  • Medical/Dental/Vision insurance benefits available if you meet minimum hour's requirements to qualify after one year.
