Bakery production positions available NOW!
Our New Orleans office is currently seeking two early morning bakery production and three evening production workers for a bakery in Harahan. Duties are as follows:
- Assisting with making pastries, bread and king cakes
- Folding and putting together boxes
- Boxing items
- Assisting with dishwashing
- Heavy lifting
Qualifications:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs plus
- Must be willing to work in a fast paced environment and maintain professional knowledge of change in in the organization
- Must also be able to maintain good housekeeping standards, work professionally and make sure every customer has a positive impression of the bakery upon leaving
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be on time and ready for work at the start of their shift
- Must have non-slip shoes
- Must have a flexible schedule in that days and hours can change from time to time
- Must be able to work 4pm-11pm or 5am-1pm M-Th with the ability to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays as needed, no exceptions!
Lofton offers benefits, including health, vision, dental and paid vacation after one year of service. Pay rate of $14.00 per hour. Long term temporary position.
