Banquet Captain Job at Bancroft Hotel
The Bancroft Hotel is looking for Banquet Captains for the Catering and Events department.
The Banquet Captain's duties are as follows
- Supervise event staff both at hotel and off-premises during preparation for, execution, and cleanup of events.
- If necessary, for large scale or high-profile events assume supervision of a team of event staff for the performance of one aspect of the larger event. (i.e. bar staff, delivery staff)
- During events, act as the primary contact person for the on-site client representative as directed by the Catering Director or Assistant Catering Director.
- Assist event staff as needed with their task during events. These tasks may include loading and unloading of equipment, supplies and/or food; setup and cleanup of events on or off-premises; limited food preparation; and acting as banquet server, busser, or bartender.
- Performing as Delivery Driver for events as necessary. This includes driving Bancroft catering’s full size cargo van.
- Perform limited administrative tasks as assigned by the Assistant Catering Director.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.95 - $23.06 per hour
