Barista and Cashier Job at Gloria Jeans Coffees
Location: New Brunswick - Opposite Train Station
Current position is based in New Brunswick and needed someone with exceptional Customer Service skills with Passion for Coffee. This is a long term ongoing opportunity and to become a permanent member of our team.
Key focus areas of the role include but are not limited to:
- Preparing and serving espresso coffees orders for customers using our standard measures and recipes.
- Preparing hand crafted beverages, every guest every time to operational standards.
- Enter and manage orders into POS device. Gift cards, suggestive selling.
- Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area from storage areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of counters and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
- Ensures proper food preparation by given recipes.
- Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the store.
- Greets customers courteously and interacts in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers.
- Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards. Serves food neatly and attractively per standard.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- General cleaning tasks
- Must have reliable transport and be able to manage parking in the city
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
