Position: Entry Level Barista
Location: Gettysburg, PA
Hours: Part Time and Full Time Positions: Monday-Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Job Types: Part-time

Overview: Bantam Coffee Roasters is a boutique coffee shop located in historic Gettysburg, PA. We focus on specialty and handcrafted coffee drinks. The Barista position involves general day-to-day operations, including customer service and drink preparation. We are passionate about coffee and the culture that surrounds it, so we are looking to add to our friendly staff to represent our brand and mission.
Duties, skills, and requirements are as follows:
Maintain positive company morale and a professional attitude
Follow all previously developed drink recipes and preparation procedures without deviation
Participate in employee training sessions including proper execution of coffee products and brewing techniques
Ensure the quality of the product
Work with our coffee roaster to stay up to date about the coffee
Inspect all coffee brewing equipment on a daily basis
Adhere to all cleaning and maintenance routines for coffee brewing equipment
Greets customers with a good attitude and a knowledge of coffee and other beverages
Ability and desire to learn about coffee and its preparation
Maintain the organization and cleanliness of Eighty-Two in its entirety ie) kitchen, seating areas, bar, outdoor areas, and bathrooms
Ability to do repetitive tasks while maintaining a friendly attitude
Replenish stock in all areas of Eighty-Two
Able to maintain quality production and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment
Accurately ring sales and count back change to customers (basic register experience required)
May work special events, as needed
Able to handle hot food and hot beverages
Able to lift and/or move 30 lbs.
Able to stand for the entire shift
All other duties assigned'
