Our coffee service is as important as our pastry, and our baristas provide a positive and quality customer experience to customers. Liv Breads is an artisan bakery with high volume coffee service, and we’re looking for experienced baristas with a passion for coffee and hospitality.

In order to be considered for this position, you will have extensive experience with a manual machine such as a La Marzocco, experience with dialing in a machine at beginning of service and throughout the day, backflushing, microfoam, latte art. If you do not have barista experience, or have experience only with a push-button machine, please consider applying for our Retail Associate position.

This is a wonderful opportunity for experienced baristas to learn from the pros! We partner closely with Counter Culture Coffee for access to their training center, classes, and an opportunity to work with advanced baristas.

Salary is commensurate with experience. Liv Breads also offers a tip share program to all employees.

Job responsibilities:

• Dial-in espresso machine at the beginning of the day, and throughout the day as necessary
• Prepare coffee and espresso drinks according to our menu and customer specifications
• Prepare batch iced coffee and tea
• Provide friendly and helpful service to customers with an eye toward hospitality
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation requirements
• Work opening and closing shifts
• Work closely as part of a front of house team

Skills and qualifications

• At least 6-12 months experience working on a La Marzocco or similar manual machine
• High energy and engaging personality, professional demeanor, customer-service focused
• Ability to handle high-volume service, and work collaboratively with a bar assistant
• Available to work flexible hours including mornings, weekends and holidays
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Have a passion for, and curiosity about, delicious and quality coffee, breads and baked goods!
