POSITION: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Part Time

LOCATION: Serving Beech Grove, IN and surrounding areas

Step Ahead ABA is looking to hire the most qualified Registered Behavior Technicians to provide services to children with autism in the in-home and community settings. Schedule days and times will vary with each specific client's need. Some sample schedules are: M-F 4-7pm, M-F 9-12pm, Monday, Wednesday, Friday 3-9pm, M-Thursday 10-2pm, M-F 2:30-6pm etc. We do not require a minimum or maximum amount of hours worked per week and encourage RBT's to pick a schedule that works best for them based on the available clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently hiring experienced Registered Behavior Technicians that are looking to further their careers and use their experience, training, and skills to make a difference in a child's life. RBT's will provide ABA Therapy to clients in their homes, schools and in the community with in person supervision from their BCBA's. Safety checks are conducted to ensure RBT's safety while working in homes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in the home and in community environments
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and programs as written by the supervising BCBA
  • Data collection and session note submission
  • Collaborate with peers and supervisors
  • Participate regularly in staff meetings and trainings
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • RBT Certification from BACB
  • Experience working with children and/or adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Effective communication in the English language, including verbal and written communication
  • Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and other training certifications as required per program
  • Ability to Actively play with kids for 20 minutes at a time
  • Ability to stand, sit, squat, bend, twist, and lift 50 lbs
  • The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and families
  • 6 months of experience as an RBT
  • Valid state identification card
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must pass a criminal background check
