About this role:

BI Support Analyst performs as a technical analyst who engages with internal business analyst to address questions, solve problems and work on small enhancements for any analytics solution. The Business Intelligence Support Analyst will develop dashboards, reports and will analyze to support fact-based decision-making.

What you’ll do:

Develop and deliver repeatable profitability and performance reports, analyses, and dashboards

Convert business requirements and high-level data needs into sophisticated financial reporting for planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis

Provide detailed analysis and commentary to identify trends

Understand corporate and business initiatives and provide key data analysis to internal stakeholders

Present 'state of the business' at operations reviews and team meetings

Play a consultative role to managers and associates who interpret analytics by providing insights and recommendations tailored to their objectives

Provide written status updates and communications about changes

Dashboards, Analysis, and commentary reveal stories and trends about the business

Reports and dashboards are intuitive and documented clearly so they can be adopted and resourced by a peer backup or developed into online tools.

To educate the associates on metrics, dashboards, and reports, and understand how to use them to make decisions or take actions

Working with Business Analyst on resolving tickets and support requests

Ensuring that ticket resolutions are aligned with the business requirements, and adhering to technology standards

Deploying enhancements and ensuring that all appropriate documentation is completed

Guiding and educating the internal consumers of reports in understanding the insights to be obtained and leveraging all functionality provided

Job Requirements:

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required

Min 3 years business experience, preferably working in data analytics and visualization, business intelligence, or analytical consulting for an executive level audience

2+ years of hands-on experience in building dashboards within Power BI or equivalent

Experience in understanding and transitioning complex excel dashboards into Power BI

Intermediate SQL skills to query database

Demonstrated exceptional Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivots, charting/presentation)

Gets things done - autonomous completer/finisher, manages self and manages up

Problem solving – can decompose a problem into work that, if completed, solves the problem

Strong written and verbal communication skills (questioning, listening, writing)
