Job Summary
We are seeking a bilingual Human Resources Manager responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the owner group. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, affirmative action, employment law compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide employee relations support for all personnel issues such as disciplinary actions, affirmative action, conflict resolution, and ensuring federal and state compliance.
- Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, and administers annual benefits open enrollment process.
- Guide and advise department managers in corrective action, development plans, and employee terminations.
- Manage and ensure consistency for all HR process, policies, and initiatives for plant operations including handbook, discipline, and engagement.
- Manage and track FMLA, Short-term disability, ADA, and other leaves of absence.
- Prepares and counsel employees on FMLA leaves.
- Communicates polices to employees.
- Monitors performance evaluations and revises as necessary.
- Files EEO-1 report annually: maintain other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Prepares and maintains OSHA required logs and documentation.
- Assists is safety compliance meetings.
- Performs thorough investigations and resolve issues as quickly as possible.
- Ensures I-9s are e-verified and conducts quarterly audits.
- Conducts payroll on a weekly basis, and updates payroll software with any required changes.
- Maintains employee attendance, and weekly employee scheduling.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends monthly HR overview meetings and seminars. Maintains company organization chart and employee directory.
- Recruitment and selection of job candidates
- Prepare for and conduct new-hire on-boarding, orientation, and safety training
- Administers exit interviews.
- Performs other assignments and projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- As a Human Resources Manager, must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures across Human Resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
- 2-3 years HR generalist experience preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Able to work with confidential information and maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of training recordkeeping for the purpose of compliance to governmental regulations (i.e. EEOC, OSHA).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).
- Strong problem resolution skills and the ability to effectively respond to questions and concerns from employees to managers.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Well organized and detailed orientated with ability to multi-task.
- Independent thinker, self-starter, and team player.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,852.00 - $79,169.00 per year
