Billing Analyst (Warehouse Operations) Job at Gulf Relay, LLC
The Warehouse Operations Billing Analyst plays a key role within the Gulf Relay Warehousing team. Responsibilities include leading the billing and collections process, ensuring accurate and timely Billing and Accounts Receivable. Required to interface with all Customers and provide a strong Customer-Service function for our book of customers. You must be comfortable representing our company in a professional manner on the phone and in person.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurate timely billing and collections of all customers
- Clearly understand and accurately apply each Customers Pricing
- Establish and maintain proficiency with WMS Billing Module
- Prepare Monthly Billings from all sources of data (i.e., manual documents, WMS Billing Module…)
- Ensure Daily Transactional level billing detail data / reports is accurate and updated timely
- Maintain and improve processes - billing, reporting, credit, collections
- Review, analyze and maintain Accounts Receivable Aging report
- Collaborate with Customers to receive payment for past due invoices or misrouted payments
- Identify billing or collections process inefficiencies and work with Customers to resolve and improve processes.
- Process / Manage credits or adjustment to Customers
- Collaborate with warehouse management and the finance team to ensure all parties have an accurate picture of the warehouse financial performance, including billing and collections
- Liaison with Customers (including Customer visits if in need) to troubleshoot disputes, errors in billing
- Assist on special projects and ad hoc reports as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Experience with reporting tools like MS BI, Looker or Tableau
- Excellent MS Excel skills, including v-lookup, pivot tables and filtering
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent written, oral, and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
- Proficient using MS Word, Power Point, and other Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work well in time-sensitive situations where customer satisfaction is the goal.
- Experience in data analysis a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
