About The Role
We are recruiting for birthday party hosts to join our Entertainments Team and facilitate birthday parties that deliver a fun, safe and active party for the children while being value-packed and hassle free for the parents. Compensation for the role is $14.00/hour.
- Welcome all party guests with a smile, and review party format and agenda with parents.
- Facilitate the party staging area while waiting for remaining guests.
- Organize game and/or LEGO Build activity to keep guests entertained.
- Stay with the party group for the duration of the party.
- Lead and facilitate children in safe, organized, fun, and unique games and activities.
- Interact with children and parents throughout all phases of the birthday party while being prepared for the next group to arrive.
- Prepare, assist with the smooth transition and set up of chosen attractions.
- Facilitate food service, clearing and reset of entire party room celebration.
- Ensure requested food is properly displayed and served within the party room.
- Always interact and engage with guests.
- Keep party room looking crisp, fresh and aesthetically pleasing at all times.
- Always work with safety and cleanliness as top of mind at all times.
- Finalize party balance and ensure that it is paid prior to departure of guests.
- Notice opportunities to take action to facilitate social interactions with families.
- Perform other duties as required.
About You
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Fun, dynamic, and friendly personality.
- Cash handling experience.
- Excellent communication, listening, and motivational skills.
- Able to work in areas with loud noises and confined spaces
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multi-task as necessary.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in service industry
- Arizona Food Handler Certificate a plus
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
