Duties and responsibilities include:

• Install, configure, administer, and deploy BMC Discovery and support ITSM Suite components in accordance with existing processes and procedures.
• Perform BMC Discovery 20.x administration to include start anywhere application mapping, collaborative application mapping, application mapping using TPL, scanning networks, maintaining appliances, CMDB synchronization, creating and editing patterns templates, and developing custom reports using BMC Discovery reporting features and BMC Smart Reporting
• Scan networked assets, execute reconciliation procedures, and update the configuration management database (CMDB)
• Provide technical support for operations and environment support aspects of the Hopper Enterprise ITSM Suite which serves customers, engineers, user-support groups, management and others in the Hopper ISC and its customers.
• Meet with representatives from the Help/Service Desk and Tier III Support Teams to discuss changes and refinements to the BMC Discovery application and emerging trends that indicate improved efficiency and quality of the CMDB.
• Support application users located throughout the National Capital Region (NCR) and regional support entities

Required Qualifications:

• 4 years of relevant experience
• BMC Discovery Administration and Configuration experience
• Hand-on experience with Asset management and CMDB
• ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation certification
• CompTIA Security+ certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• BMC Certified Associate: Discovery 20.x Application Modeling for Administrators

Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree required (equivalent experience may be substituted)

Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI
