Body Shop Technician

Checkered Flag Automotive Group is looking for an experienced Body Shop Technician to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA!

What Our Technicians Do

• Examine customer vehicles and estimate cost of repairs.
• Identify necessary vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Determine a course of action for damaged parts.
• Investigate reports of vehicle issues.
• Perform work efficiently and in accordance with dealership.
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Ensure that required documentation is complete and follows regulations and standards.
• Ensures that work areas are clean, and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored.
• Participates in required training (manufacturer fundamental training and/or training provided by Checkered Flag).

Your Pre-Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-4 years of automotive body diagnosis and problem-solving experience
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no major violations
