Body Shop Technician Job at Coopersburg & Liberty Kenworth
Just like the trucking business, Coopersburg Kenworth is thriving! During this time of growth, we are looking to add an experienced full-time Body Shop Technician to our team. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to perform body work to the Company standards including but not limited to:
- Basic repairs from fixing dents and cracked fiberglass to major collision repairs
- Ensuring all needed repairs are identified and a work plan is in place to minimize repair time.
- Replacing parts once repaired
- Utilizing a variety of power and hand tools, such as hammers, wrenches, sanders, welding equipment, etc.
- Performing other duties assigned
- Must keep work area clean and orderly in compliance with company safety policy
Requirements:
- Positive attitude
- Must communicate effectively with managerial staff
- Must work well individually and as part of a larger team
- Will need to have the ability to sit, squat, bend, pull, and lift up to 50lbs
- 2+ years shop experience preferred
- Must possess a high school diploma /GED
- Vocational or technical certification preferred
- Truck and hydraulic experience a plus
- A valid CDL is preferred
