Now hiring a bookkeeper for growing hometown accounting firm. You could be part of a supportive and friendly staff.
Responsibilities:
- Data entry into QuickBooks based off client records
- Review of account data entered for discrepancies
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Payroll processing and reports
- Sales tax calculations
- Timely processing of client data and preparation of necessary reports
- Be the primary contact for clients assigned to you
Requirements:
- Associate degree in accounting or relative experience
- A working knowledge of accounting principles such as chart of accounts, double entry set of books, and financial statements
- Familiar with QuickBooks desktop and online programs
- A basic understanding of taxation
- Ability to treat confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Attention to detail
- Analytic skills
- Ability to prioritize
- Customer focus & orientation
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently
This is a full-time, year-round position with overtime opportunities during tax season. We offer a flexible schedule and the chance to learn preparation of business tax returns such as corporate and partnership.
