For our Jason Industrial and AMMEGA Finance team, we are currently looking for a Bookkeeper. Full benefits on day 1 + 401(k) after a month.

Bookkeeper

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for recording all financial transactions and maintaining everyday financial records. The Bookkeeper will ensure the information in financial records are accurate and monitor accounts payable in accordance with company and established accounting policies and procedures. You will report to the Accounting Manager, Accounts Payable and be part of the Finance team. This position works on a team of about 2 people. Key colleagues include Finance colleagues within the business unit. In this role, you will be based in West Caldwell, New Jersey, United States. Our colleagues like one another, so this is an in-person, in-office role.

A day in the life of a Bookkeeper can look like

• Keep a record of financial transactions on a daily basis.
• Able to collaborate with accountants.
• Verify incoming and outgoing transactions.
• Process account payables.
• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
• Perform weekly check run
• Other duties assigned

We are looking for you to offer the following

• 5+ years of Accounts Payable, or 3 years of experience and bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Business or Accounting)
• Microsoft Navision experience preferred
• Microsoft Office and Excel proficient
• Learning agility
• Positive team spirit
• Entrepreneurial and customer focus
• Ability to deliver what is promised
• Ability to build relationships through collaboration
