Bookkeeper Job at PM Properties
Pigg & Martinez LLC (P&M LLC) is searching for an energetic, and passionate bookkeeper that is seeking a growing brand with much potential for growth. P&M LLC is a management company that oversees Prism North Inc and its several subsidiaries. We are a small and fun company that is looking to add a new piece to our team with the right attitude and vision for their career. This position will oversee a number of entities and will be tasked with small administrative duties as well. Travel will be required (company provided) at times and this particular individual will work closely with our President to streamline all bookkeeping across our organization. Our preference is that this individual resides in Southern California.
REQUIREMENTS
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
- Bring the books to the trial balance stage
- Perform partial checks of the posting process
- Complete tax forms
- Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
SKILLS
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficiency in English and in QB ONLINE
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish Preferred
PAY
Starting Pay - $30/hr (After a 90 day probationary period, this position will receive a raise)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 per hour
