Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant Job at Wilkinson, Garrard & Clements, CPAs
Wilkinson, Garrard & Clements, an accounting firm in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a bookkeeper/staff accountant to join our team. We work with many small businesses and individuals to provide tax and accounting services. We are looking for a dependable professional with excellent communication skills and experience working with QuickBooks accounting software.
Responsibilities:
· Bookkeeping including data entry, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
· Payroll processing including quarterly and annual payroll tax return preparation
· Sales Tax return preparation
· Communication with clients and staff on various issues
· Assist with tax preparation as needed
Skills/Qualifications:
· AA preferred, but High School Diploma accepted with work experience
· 1-2 years Bookkeeping Experience
· Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software (online and desktop)
· Proficient with Excel and Word
· Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills
· High attention to detail
· Tax return preparation and CPA firm experience a plus
Schedule:
· This is an in-office position
· Full-Time will be Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week with ability to work overtime during our peak season February through April. We will also consider Part-Time employment.
