***$2000 Sign on Bonus***
We pay for our technicians training and ASE test registration. We also pay a up to $200 bonus for every ASE automotive certification earned.
Job Responsibilities of a Semi Skilled Automotive Technician :
- diagnose and repair basic systems to become certified with a preference for brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling and electrical
- Change oil and filters
- Install batteries and checks electrical systems
- Install and perform tire maintenance
- Install parts which include shock absorbers and exhaust systems
- Replace Steering and Suspension Parts
- Replace Brake parts
- Perform fluid exchanges
- Perform Alignments
- Road test vehicles
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have experience as a lube or tire technician and, or attended vocational school for automotive with desire to advance into a certified technician role.
- Minimum of 6 months experience working in a professional automotive shop
- Demonstrate the ability to learn basic mechanical tasks
- You'll also need a high level of motivation, energy and a customer-focused attitude.
- Must have own tools
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Pre-employment drug test/physical/ background check will help assure we build teams of people who can best work with others and serve customer needs.
