About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the overall performance of the branch and branch staff to achieve the goals set out for the Credit Union. This includes but is not limited to the oversight and participation in building, maintaining, and deepening relationships with consumer and business members. You'll do this by creating and leading a highly exceptional team to deliver a superior member experience and recommending appropriate answers and suggestions to help members improve their financial journey.

  • Responsible for coaching, developing, setting standards of excellence, and creating an environment where each team member thrives on helping members. While maintaining accountability to core standards, this individual is also responsible for ensuring a pleasant work environment for both members and staff.
  • Implements strategies and promotional programs with creativity and energy such that goals are achieved and quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • Facilitates integrated delivery of financial services and products, including customized lending.
  • Responsible for the growth activity of the branch.
  • Manages the selection, placement, performance, development, promotion, and termination of store associates.
  • Coaches and mentors all Associates in learning the skills required for their level of role, including technical expertise of consumer lending.
  • Ensures operational efficiency, compliance and quality standards are met.
  • Responsible for all aspects of branch security in accordance with 3Hill Credit Union’s security policy.
  • Responsible for positive community relations.
  • Listen to the customer's financial needs and make recommendations to support the member's financial growth.
  • Maintain responsibility for cash drawer and follow proper balancing procedures.
  • Leverage your knowledge and training received to provide answers and assistance for members' questions and concerns.
  • Review and maintain knowledge of products, fees and policies and stay current on offerings for product suggestions.
  • Open and process complex consumer and moderate to complex small business deposit accounts.
  • Originate basic to moderately complex consumer loans within 3Hill Credit Union guidelines.
  • Work on NSF reports, balancing cash, ensuring audit safety, and soundness of credit union. Considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
  • Open new accounts and originate loans.
  • Comply with all Federal, State, and local consumer protection laws governing loan origination including the SAFE Act and SAFE Act registration and renewal rules as defined by the bank, if applicable.
  • Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position and keep up to date on regulation changes.
  • Maintain working knowledge of our policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other regulations that apply to your position.
  • May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
  • Overall Management of a Branch office, including the direct management of all staff members assigned to the branch.
  • Demonstrates compliance with all credit union regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities -- knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes. Follows all Credit Union policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual required or job-specific training. About You:

  • Work experience in banking and finance, business or a related field.
  • Valid Drivers' License.
  • Notary certification preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Active membership in several community organizations.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel software applications, other banking computer systems and related software, and ability to operate a variety of office equipment.

  • Demonstrated sales skills.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and customer service issues.
  • Solid understanding retail services and products. Consumer and small business lending origination experience preferred.
  • Complies with all Federal, State and local consumer protection laws governing loan origination including the SAFE Act and SAFE Act registration and renewal rules as defined by the bank, if applicable.
  • Must be registered as a MLO as per the S.A.F.E. Act requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively.
