We are looking for an Associate Brand Manager to join our marketing team! As the Associate Brand Manager, your main responsibility will be to focus on the success of our multi-prong marketing initiatives from strategy and media planning to production execution and field implementation.

Duties and responsibilities

ASSISTS WITH ALL FACETS OF BRAND MARKETING FROM STRATEGY AND MEDIA PLANNING TO DAY-TO-DAY EXECUTION:

• Assists with Brand Strategy; inclusive of Marketing Calendar planning, ideation and development working with VP of Marketing and Brand Agency
• Leads day-to-day project management of Agency projects helping keep them on-schedule and gaining internal approvals as needed
• Assists with Brand creative direction; Reviews all Agency and internal design work, organizes internal alignment and develops & disseminates actionable feedback
• Leads Ad-hoc Field Marketing material development by working closely with Graphic Designer, providing communications point of view, proofing, and distribution
• Assists with new product packaging design strategy and implementation
• Active website management; monitoring functionality, leading change execution and tracking certain performance/ data metrics
• Leads coupon plan execution, coupon design process, initiating orders, and tracking and reporting on redemption, charges, and performance
• Helps plan execution of National and Distributor Trade Shows plus Consumer Shows and attends when necessary

Qualifications

• Previous work experience as an Associate Brand Manager, Assistant Brand Manager, Marketing Associate, Agency Account Executive or similar role
• Familiarity with media marketing campaigns and performance metrics
• Knowledge of Content Management Systems, Social Channel Business Accounts, and techniques
• Excellent communication skills
• Pet category experience desired but not mandatory
• BS in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, Advertising, or related field

Working conditions/Physical Requirements

• Our headquarters is based in Mt. Pleasant. Job is onsite, in office if not traveling for business.
• Occasional business travel required up to 15% of time.

Specific physical requirements include:

• Climbing flights of stairs
• Occasionally bending, twisting, and turning while lifting weight of less than fifty (50) pounds
• Sitting for extended periods of time
