Job Description
GDIT is seeking highly motivated Business Analyst to join our growing team to define and support our mission-critical applications for our customer in the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) . The successful candidate will provide support to transforming client business needs into user stories that accurately capture functional requirements. Perform as an advocate of the client Product Owner in accordance with Agile best practices. This includes involvement with users to define system scope and objectives, as well as documenting functional requirements. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Write user stories and functional requirements
- Ability to assign points for user stories
- Provide support and technical advice throughout Agile sprint cycles
- Assist in validating enhancements to existing system in addition to coordinating with developer and tester personnel
- Implementing scrum/agile project lifecycle approach to software development
- Leading daily scrum calls, estimation and grooming sessions, knowledge transfer lessons and meeting interactions with the customers
- Integrating with the sprint teams to deliver functionality
Required Skills / Qualifications
- excellent Communication
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- BS or equivalent +10 yrs related experience
- Experience developing Agile user stories for an IT Mission System; experience with SharePoint development projects a huge plus
- Certification in SAFe, SCRUM or Kanban
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Position has remote work possibilities.
