We are seeking to hire a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The Enterprise Business Analyst will serve as the liaison between the IT and business environments within the organization. The BA will provide expertise in the business processes/units they support, understand the organization's systems and capabilities, and translate high level business requirements that were gathered into functional specifications for IT. The BA should possess an understanding of technologies and utilize that knowledge to bring solutions to the business as well as educate the IT environment on the direction of the business. IT Analysts create business requirements documents and knows enough about a platform/technology to create functional specs for use in building a technical solution and support others to complete configuration and coding.

About the job:

• Lead the identification of business requirements for new BI/Reporting/Analytics solutions.
• Develop business cases, define high level business objectives, and develop key success factors for solution delivery
• Function as liaison between information systems groups, vendors and other departments as needed
• Elicit, understand, interpret and represent functional and nonfunctional requirements to include business and stakeholder requirements, data and information requirements, data integration, metadata, data quality, service levels and performance
• Partner with management and business units to define innovative ways to utilize data and related tools to advance business objectives
• Plan and facilitate requirements elicitation workshops using a variety of techniques such as Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, interviewing, brainstorming, job shadowing, use stories and other similar requirements elicitation techniques
• Apply judgment in interpreting and delivering business solutions that optimize the user’s experience
• Analyze, categorize, document, and validate requirements to the appropriate level of granularity so that technical teams are able to translate to system design

About you:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field
• 8-10 years experience working as a Business Analyst in an Enterprise sized environment.

• Experience with the elicitation of requirements and utilizing the requirements to create business documentation (BRD’s/ FRD’s)
• Understanding of IT processes and ability to translate and communicate technical concepts into business language
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision-making and quantitative analysis skills to provide insights into performance and efficiency opportunities
• Strong planning and organizational skills to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Can express business requirements as well-formed user stories and acceptance criteria

• Demonstrate solid written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, organizational and presentation skills
• Build relationships within and between individuals and cross functional teams
• Solid understanding of project management principles, data management principles, and data modeling concepts
• Well versed in business analysis concepts, software development lifecycle and/or process methodologies
• Ability to understand the unique needs of the customer and translate to actionable results while delivering high quality outcomes

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work onsite in a hybrid format 2/3 days per week is required (Broward County, Florida). This is not a remote only role.
