JOB SUMMARY:

SkyeTec Engineering is expanding our services to include Private Party Inspections for Roofing and HVAC code inspection. We’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager to help secure contracts with industry partners to use SkyeTec Engineering services. This is an outside sales position. it will require direct sales methods such as cold calling and meeting face to face, as well as indirect methods like networking.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Identify strategic relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Sell SkyeTec Engineering services to businesses and have substantial knowledge of services sold.
  • Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new customers that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales.
  • Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking within the assigned territory.
  • Consult with prospect about business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each.
  • Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers.
  • Draft and deliver SkyeTec Engineering approved proposals.
  • Reporting on sales activity daily, weekly, and monthly, as requested
  • Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions
  • Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods
  • Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns
  • Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace
  • Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity
  • Travel 50 to 75% of the time as needed.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by the Director of Sales

  • English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.

  • Able to present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients, and the general public.

  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills including MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook
  • Proven sales ability and desire to succeed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or four years of related sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Safe driving record and reliable vehicle.
  • Construction sales experience isn’t required but preferred
