The Business Development Manager is directly responsible for Anthony & Sylvan Pools’ subcontractor management program. This position will work hand in hand with all divisional construction managers to recruit, retain and train our subcontractor partners.

Essential Duties:

• Develop and implement preferred subcontractor program that delivers stronger relationship with crews.
• Streamline subcontractor onboarding process while ensuring all key steps in process are being completed at a high level
• Develop and routinely publish metrics on subcontractor onboarding and recruiting
• Develop and maintain subcontractor contacts in all current and future markets
• Manage subcontractor capacity tool and plan changes according to seasonal capacity needs
• Audit and evaluate subcontractor performance and develop subcontractor training initiatives with division and/or industry support.
• Implement performance improvement plans for underperforming subcontractors
• Ensure Subcontractor compliance with all insurance requirements
• Work with operational management team to identify potential subcontractor business challenges that could have an adverse impact on the company and develop business plans to solve challenges
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
• Follows Anthony & Sylvan Pool’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related
• 8+ years of experience in construction subcontractor management
• Experience in Commercial Liability, Worker’s Comp, and auto insurance preferred
• Experience in Pool Industry preferred
• Ability to travel within U.S. based divisions up to 40%
