THE ROLE*
Black Rifle Coffee is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to architect data models and integrate data systems in support of the Retail team. The person joining the team will be responsible for partnering with business stakeholders to ensure data solutions are aligned with objectives and will be engaged in all phases of the data lifecycle.

YOUR TASK

• Work directly with business stakeholders to identify and clarify business needs, understanding specific requirements for metrics and analysis
• Develop and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines using Fivetran and Python scripts
• Use dbt to model data to usable end states that power analysis and dashboards; validate and maintain models to ensure 100% accuracy across systems
• Create scalable dashboards and reports to support business objectives and enable data-driven decision making
• Partner with data scientists, analysts, ML engineers, and product teams to coordinate the delivery of data projects

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Strong engineering background and interest in data analysis
• Prior experience building data pipelines in production
• Prior experience designing, developing, and maintaining robust data models
• 4+ years experience with data architecture in either a Snowflake Data Warehouse or SQL Data Warehouse
• 4+ years experience with a data visualization tool such as Sigma, PowerBI, or Tableau
• 4+ years of SQL query language
• 2+ years of Python or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of dbt or Jinja experience
• Experience proactively identifying opportunities to improve performance and cost
• Excellent communication skills to thrive in ambiguous environments where problems are not well-defined and evolve quickly
• Experience working at a startup or comfortable in fast-paced environments

This is a full-time position and may require long hours and may require weekend and night work per events
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
Light to moderate lifting is required
Ability to uphold the stress of traveling
Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business, demands dictate.
Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, and printers, light traffic).
Ability to work in a confined area.
Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
