Business Services Analyst

First State Community Bank's Business Services Department is seeking a Business Services Analyst to support the reporting and analysis of business services along with the solution ownership of Enhanced Account Analysis. This role will provide administrative support for the Business Services Department, as well as assisting in its efforts providing solutions to our markets and customers.


An excellent Business Services Analyst will possess strong data management skills, and the ability to interpret, analyze, and communicate data. This position will be working in a team environment with other bank representatives, support, and operations members.


Responsibilities in Accordance with Our Corporate Values

Professionalism

  • Manage the banks Enhanced Account Analysis software to better understand, assess, and improve profitability of our business customers
  • Collaborate in a team atmosphere as it relates to developing, implementing and marketing new business products and services

Accountability

  • In partnership with other teams, you will be responsible for reporting and data management of the following products (not limited to): Enhanced Account Analysis, Merchant Services, Commercial Credit Cards, ACH, Wire Transfer Services, Remote Deposit Capture, Business Online Banking, Positive Pay, SmartPay, and Autobooks
  • Develop and maintain internal reporting, business analyses and presentations with an additional goal of identifying and targeting customers for Business Growth

Initiative

  • Research existing solutions, integrations, and ancillary bank services, processes, and departments
  • Proactively generate and assist with disseminating market prospecting data

Adaptability

  • Review overall profitability of Business Services as well as on a customer by customer situation
  • Assist and Support Public Fund Bid Processes, Follow-Up, Communication, Customer Experience

Qualifications

  • Must possess ability to listen attentively and communicate in a concise and effective manner
  • Must have experience and/or adequate working skills utilizing Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel
  • Must have strong written and oral presentation skills
  • Utilize good time management practices and tools in order to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while managing time, resources and interruptions to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established time frames
  • Exhibit high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Desire to advance oneself by taking the initiative to learn more about business services and the bank
  • Travel typically limited to intra-day timeframe. Estimated 3%-5% days of travel, equivalent to 1 day each month
