We want to bring on a Junior Business/Systems Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. This role is on site in Rockville about 2 days a week. They are looking for someone with 2-3+ years of experience that is willing to handle a lot of administrative BA tasks. These tasks include working with templates, handling security access issues/requests, creating documentation, etc. Experience in the Biotech/Pharma Industry would be great, but not required. The details are below, but they are really looking for someone that can come in and learn and grow with their Senior BSA’s. The IV process is a phone screen, followed by an ON SITE Interview. Initially they are going to do more Sys Admin work, but they will also requirements gathering/writing as well. It’s probably 70% Sys Admin, 30% BA work.

POSITION SUMMARY

REGENXBIO is seeking a motivated Business Analyst / System Analyst with great customer service and communication skills, who will collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and analyze requirements, to determine appropriate solutions, to evaluate and select suitable products, to manage implementation and delivery, and to provide on-going support of systems. The Analyst is required to understand project management, including budget, schedule, implementation, and delivery.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborates with Business partners to elicit and analyze requirements, and models business information and processes into workflows and use cases.
• With Business partners, evaluates and selects suitable solutions within the parameters of IT infrastructures, compliance, and technical requirements.
• Manages vendor implementation and configuration to address requirements and to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Supports testing, validation, and documentation as necessary.
• Provide system configuration and other on-going support post-implementation.
• Provides training and support of systems as appropriate.
• Assists with other systems and IT roles and functions as appropriate.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• B.S. in a STEM field with 3+ years of experience.
• Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders in different Business units to elicit, analyze, communicate, and to validate requirements to determine appropriate information systems.
• Understanding of life science industry and of systems for EDMS, QA, Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and R&D is preferred.
• Effective time management by prioritizing workload.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technology and tools to help meet user needs and become more effective.
