The County of Riverside's Information Technology Department has a vacancy for the Business Systems Analyst III (BSA) position that will be located in Riverside supporting the Fleet Services Department.

The Incumbent in this position will be engaged in managing, supporting, troubleshooting, testing, developing, customizing, configuring, and implementing enterprise wide technology applications, systems, and solutions. These efforts are primarily designed to address a variety of county-wide business needs. Incumbents directly support the enterprise technology needs and the growth of the enterprise requirements for the County of Riverside.

The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible supporting Fleet department application and all its business processes. Fleet currently has implemented FASTER system with E J ward as their fueling vendor. Both systems are key for Fleet operations. Responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and leading work/ projects related to integrated solutions, as well as participating in research and development of new technologies to enhance and improve the customer experience. Multiple levels of analysis will be required such as process and system analysis, refining and documenting the business requirements of customers included in the development, implementation, and production support of integrated systems.

The position requires constant and regular interaction, coordination, meetings, and collaboration with internal support teams (e.g., Database Administrators, Systems Administrators, Technical Services support staff, Applications Support staff, Help Desk Staff, and Business Relationship Managers).

Incumbents should have skills in resolving technical system issues by gathering and analyzing data, reasoning logically, and drawing valid conclusions.

They should have knowledge of development in enterprise application processes, and how technologies are related to maintaining integrated systems.

Knowledge, skills, and experience with any of the following applications is also preferred; Faster Fleet Services Applications or Asset Works, proficient in MS-SQL Server, SSRS and SSIS . Knowledge of Power BI is desired. Good knowledge in writing SQL queries is a must. Should have good soft skills in collecting requirements and ability to work in a matrix team.
