Business Systems Analyst IV Job at THOR Solutions, LLC
THOR Solutions is actively seeking a Business Systems Analyst IV to provide project planning, analysis, and administrative support to NIWC Pacific Codes 81000 & 84000 in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience obtained in a U.S. Navy/DoD environment related to project planning, recommending timelines and milestones, and identifying risk areas; working and consulting with cross-functional teams in the delivery of a product or service; developing analytical models in spreadsheets and using presentation tools to facilitate communication with stakeholders.
Specific responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Corporate strategy management, analysis, and administration.
- Strategic intelligence analysis and administrative support.
- Data management, visualization, and analysis.
- Process management and analysis.
- Website (Hub, Wikis) content management.
- JIRA project administration & workflow development.
- Analysis of Alternatives, budgetary assessment, cost-benefit analysis.
Worksite and Hours:
- This is a full time, onsite position at NIWC Pacific.
- Due to COVID-19 safety protocols, partial telework is temporarily in effect. At least one day per week must be performed onsite. The Government may alter this requirement without notice, up to requiring full time onsite attendance.
- This position uses the California Alternate Work Schedule: Mon – Thu 9 hour days, Fri alternate between 8 hour or 0 hours.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must already possess an active SECRET security clearance.
- Must maintain clearance for the duration of employment.
Required Education, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, management, or science (e.g., industrial engineering, operations research, systems analysis) from an accredited institution.
- In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a High school diploma/GED equivalent plus one of the following may be accepted:
- Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Business Financial Management (BUS-FM) certification
- DAWIA Business Cost Estimating (BUS-CE) certification
- DAWIA Program Management (PM) certification
- In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a High school diploma/GED equivalent plus one of the following may be accepted:
- At least five (5) years of recent, relevant professional experience supporting corporate operation functions. Experience should include:
- At least two (2) years of experience in data management, data analysis, and data visualization.
- Experience in designing multiple data visualization techniques and tailoring visualization methods for different audiences.
- Experience with Navy Working Capital Fund model.
- Experience obtained in a U.S. Navy/DoD environment is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency and experience with common productivity software, including the Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
- Proficiency and experience with Atlassian JIRA project tracking software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
