Qualifications:
- • Client a leader in the aerospace industry is seeking a detail oriented individual to join our Procurement team to assist in the increase of inventory purchase volume and increasing sales.
- • HS Degree required; good computer skills (Microsoft Suite, AS 400, and SAP / Oracle platform); and Inventory experience.
- • Some college as plus.
Responsibilities:
- • Day to day responsibilities include reporting and follow-up of inventory purchase volume; general office duties (typing, filing, phone, email); plus, monthly physical inventory count.
- • You will also assist in monitoring of contractual programs, maintaining and updating our database as well as assist with selling, purchasing, receiving, and storing of components.
- • Including but not limited to:
- • Purchase items for production including inspection of incoming parts.
- • Meet and negotiate with supplier under supervision Locate sources for requested items Interact with hourly employees and Production.
- • Supervisors Print purchasing report and forms as needed.
- • Conduct periodic inventory of stock room levels with S/R Supervisor and Operations.
- • Always maintain correct levels of consigned inventory including issuance of parts fixtures, chemicals, tools, etc.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Windsor, CT 06095: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Procurement: 2 years (Preferred)
- Microsoft Suite, AS 400, and SAP / Oracle platform: 2 years (Preferred)
- Buyer: 2 years (Preferred)
