Tenon Tours​ is a boutique tour operator which specializes in planning custom vacations to Europe. The BYSS TEAM Member ​ position is responsible for ensuring that our travelers are fully prepared for their trip prior to departure, as well as providing an exceptional level of service throughout the duration of their travels. You will also be monitoring our Traveler Hotline and in-app messaging at appropriate times and respond in a quick and professional manner to help with any emergency issues or changes to their itinerary. Components of this job are time-sensitive, so you must be able to prioritize and work efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with international travel is preferred
  • Must be able to multi-task & should be extremely detail oriented
  • Proficient with computers. Google Sheets and Google Docs required
  • Customer service experience is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work and make decisions independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively using various formats
  • Ability to cope in stressful situations among a fast paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • App messaging during designated times in a timely manner
  • Responds to emergency issues with current travelers
  • Concierge service to travelers wanting to make changes or add to their trip
  • Ability to correctly amend current confirmed components
  • Correctly book items for current travelers or help them with booking through app
  • Offer suggestions/advice to current travelers
  • Answer all client emails and phone calls about current reservations
  • Tend to client’s issues/concerns/needs including, but not limited to eliminating/adding tours, nights, transportation to their reservation, upgrading/adjusting accommodations, etc.
  • Help clients prepare for their trip by providing information, tips and helpful information in a timely manner
  • Schedule and perform pre-departure consultations
  • Responsible for 24/7 Traveler Hotline as assigned
  • Assisting with clients' flights and/or collect flight information booked independently
  • Collecting all necessary passenger information pre-travel
  • Collect and process payments
  • Document purchased Travel Protection
  • Prepare, review and send travel documents
  • Prepare and send gifts
  • Set and complete daily tasks
  • Help resolve issues that arise within the reservation
  • Work hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 6 pm EST
