Becks Quality Cabinets, a family-owned cabinet company based out of Green Bay, WI, is opening a showroom in the Northwoods!

Do you enjoy taking the time to understand your customers’ needs and taking on high-end custom projects from start to finish? Do you enjoy bringing ideas to life in a computer-aided design program and keeping up to date with the latest materials and design trends? In this position, you would be an integral part of bringing the team that produces world-class quality with a local flare to Northern Wisconsin. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meets with clients to understand their needs and provide real, practical solutions; effectively communicate and educate customers on products, technical specifications, design trends, and space planning.
  • Gathers and effectively manages the details of each project from start to completion and is a resource through all phases of production/installation.
  • Receives and processes requests from clients via telephone or in-person for projects designs and price quotations in a timely manner.
  • Prepares detailed drawings using computer-aided design equipment and architectural plans.
  • Presents design and job proposal to clients and discusses the need for any necessary modifications.
  • Maintains accurate and detailed documentation of customer activity and changes to projects and answers any questions/handles issues internally or externally.
  • Provides recommendations on products, materials, and colors for the entire project including but not limited to cabinets, countertops, hardware, flooring, etc. throughout the entirety of the project.
  • Create and modify layout and design to satisfy factors such as appearance, safety, functionality, budget, and production cost.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure project quality and communication.
  • Maintain client and vendor relationships.
  • Participate in marketing events such as tradeshows and builder meetings.
  • Prospect and develop new business relationships and maintain current business.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • An associate's degree in Interior Design is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience using Cabinet Vision or other computer-aided design software is required.
  • 5-10 years of cabinet sales and design experience is required.
