Cadence Librarian Job at Insight Global
JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global's client in the defense industry is looking for a Cadence Librarian to join the RF support and layout team. This role is responsible for supporting tasks such as providing design data and files, part creation, and reporting of work status. This candidate is preferably located in Illinois, but remote working is allowed. Other responsibilities include:
- Work with the layout and engineering teams to update and create new or existing parts.
- Utilize understanding of electronic components for schematic symbol and footprint creations, as well as database maintenance.
- Capture schematic symbol creation, CIS database data entry and maintenance, and libraries maintenance.
- Assist layout team with schematic capture, design reports generation and resolution, DXF import and export, and DFM and DFT.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience specifically as a Cadence or ECAD Librarian- support tasks as creating guidelines, symbols, and footprints.
- Advanced experience with Cadence OrCAD Capture CIS and Allegro.
DESIRED SKILLS
- Experience with Cadence 16.6 and 17.4 versions.
