Call Center Representative Job at Granville Health System
Position Summary
Responsible for receiving all calls through the switchboard and transferring calls to proper destination. Appointment scheduling and answering incoming calls from healthcare providers and patients. Uses appropriate greeting for callers. Ensures that all calls are handled in a timely, courteous manner and that patient appointing is in keeping with all GHS and clinic policies. Reschedules patients as needed to accommodate clinic schedules and assist referral physicians and other healthcare providers with information and appropriate resources to address their needs in a timely manner. Supports clinical team to more efficiently assist patients with medical questions, using templates and protocols which are completed, and sent to clinical team for response.
Qualifications
High School graduate with typing and computer skills; knowledge of switchboard operations, ability to deal with multiple phone lines in calm and professional manner; ability to follow medical staff instructions; ability to stay calm in emergencies; good communication and organizational skills; ability to deal with the public in a professional manner and maintain good relationships with hospital personnel and staff physicians; ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Schedule: PRN, 1st, Mon-Thurs as needed
