Camp Counselor Job at Camp Woodland & Towering Pines
Camp Woodland is an overnight camp for girls ages 7-16 years old, located in Northern Wisconsin, near Eagle River. Camp Woodland occupies an 84-acre site on the shores of Sand Lake in the heart of the American Legion Forest. Core Responsibilities:
- Instruct beginner/intermediate gymnastics (tumbling/bars/beam)
- Equipment maintenance and care
- Choreograph and direct 3 end of session demonstrations
- Live with and care for a cabin of a specific age group of girls with a co-counselor.
- Be a positive role model
- Be a helpful member of the camp community as a whole
Requirements:
- Must be 19 years of age or have completed one year of college: Base salary of $1,900 + $100 per year of age/experience +$200 for LG/CPR certification + $100 for activity director + Travel up to $200
- Have gymnastics spotting and instruction experience
- MUST love children and the outdoors!
- Live on sight with a cabin group June 25 - August 6
- Attend pre-camp training and facility set up from June 16-23
- Attend post-camp shutdown August 6-8
