A large cardiology practice in Santa Monica seeks an experienced, detail-oriented certified Medical Assistant. Practice focus is individualized, contemporary care in a compassionate setting and is integrated with a larger network of cutting-edge researchers and practitioners in the greater Los Angeles area. - Must have strong back office skills including but not limited to: vital signs, blood pressure checks, height, weight, pulse oximetry, history taking, medication review; informs provider of results; be able to multitask; and coordinate various aspects of patient care.

- Experience in assisting with minor procedures and the patient preparation for the procedure, including but not limited to: EKG, treadmill stress tests, arrhythmia and blood pressure ambulatory monitor hook-up and/or registration, pacemaker and defibrillator hook-up, interrogation and documentation, remote monitoring documentation, holter monitoring scanning.

- Experience in outpatient clinical setting required, preferably in cardiology. Certified medical assistant (CMA) or registered medical assistant (RMA) preferred.

- Excellent computer skills needed in this paperless office. 2-3 years of EMR and experience with Epic is strongly desirable.

- Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills are required.
