DISCOVERY AT HOME- GULF COAST, a Discovery Senior Living company, is growing, thriving, and has meaningful job opportunities available in a safe and supportive work environment. We work with YOUR availability. Our urgent + Immediate staffing need is PMs (6pm-9pm). Most shifts take place at our Aston Gardens communities in Sun City Center, FL.

The caregiver's role includes providing hands on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home like environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s apartment/home
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Qualifications:

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred. We will take a 75 hour home health aide certificate OR we will provide PAID TRAINING!
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
• Must have transportation and active driver's license with proof of auto insurance.

PAY: 15.00-17.00/ HR based on experience and training. ALL CAREGIVERS GET 17.00/HR ON THE WEEKENDS!
