The Carpenter is part of the Maintenance team at York Hospital. This position is responsible for the remodel, build and outfitting physical space based on building plans and assisting with maintenance projects and tasks.
Some additional essential functions include:
Respond to calls for emergency repairs
Responsible for facility safety including snow removal
Maintains records in compliance with local/state/federal requirements
Assist with security concerns
Participate in emergency response activities (Code Red, Code Grey, Code Silver, etc.).
Available to work a weekend and call rotation
We require excellent carpentry and trade skills, professional communication skills, a High School Diploma, along with two years experience in a related field. Knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC, lock repairs, painting, patching and wall coverings preferred.
