Case Initiation Specialist Job at MAXIMUS Inc.
Our Case Initiation Specialists open cases and talk to parents with applications for Child Support in the state of Missouri. This position is located onsite. Work hours are 8am to 5pm.
*Candidates will be contacted by our staffing agency and will be required to complete/pass state fingerprinting process.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide responsive customer services to all stakeholders.
- Answering phone calls from the public client.
- Process applications and referrals.
- Establish new case records in MACSS.
- Research and assess cases for necessary actions.
- Initiates locate activities for noncustodial parents.
- Document initiate activities in MACSS.
- Accurately completes necessary documentation and data entry activities in all systems.
- Regularly communicates and updates the Supervisor/Lead on case status and production issues.
- Maintain accuracy rate of 95 percent.
- Ensures the confidentiality and security of all case information.
- Meets all standards established for this position.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required
- One year of data entry/customer service experience required. Experience in child support enforcement preferred
- Ability to read and interpret complex court orders, income assignments and other child support documentation
- Ability to process large quantities of data and accurately enter data into multiple systems
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software such as Microsoft WORD, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
- Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $13.30 per hour
