Case Manager responsibilities:
· Orient/asses clients upon program intake
· Collaborate with clients to develop appropriate individualized case plans, referring each to appropriate services
· Provide ongoing support, accountability, and case management services to clients participating in work release, home detention, and/or any other form of Community Corrections supervision
· Maintain updated and organized client files, documenting client interaction in ongoing case notes
· Effectively communicate with individuals within the facility and public.
· Administer drugs screens, record results, and maintain proper legal chain of custody
· Maintain safety and security of Dubois County Community Corrections, staff, participants, and the public.
· Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
· Must be 21 years of age
· Valid Driver’s License
· Associate Degree in criminal justice, social work, psychology, sociology, law enforcement or related field required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· Ability to meet all county and department hiring and retention requirements, including passage of drug test and background check.
· Working knowledge of correctional facility operations and security with ability to make practical applications of customary practices, follow standard department policies and practices, and apply and adapt procedures as cases demand.
· Ability to competently serve the public with diplomacy and respect, including occasional encounters with hostile/violent persons.
· Ability to work with others in a team environment on several tasks at the same time.
· Superior time management and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $44,162.00 per year
