Located in Bloomington IL our agency delivers Psychiatric, Recovery, and Emergency Crisis Intervention services in addition to the Counseling Program.

The CENTER for Human Services, a leading provider of behavioral health care services, is seeking a Recovery Community Center Coordinator.
Responsibilities:

Shall be familiar with and supportive of the domains of Advocacy, Professional Responsibility, Mentoring, and Recovery Support utilized within the program

Provide advocacy and mentoring

Provide supervision of Recovery Community Staff

Distribution of information on community resources to clients

Develop collaborative working relationships with community agencies, homeless shelters, therapists, physicians, and law enforcement personnel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, social work,
psychology, pastoral counseling, family therapy, or a related service field with at least 5 years of related experience in the human service field - Personal experience in recovery from lived experience with mental illness and/or a substance use disorder
- Willingness and ability to engage in self-disclosure to assist in treatment
- Passion to help others with their recovery
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid Illinois driver’s license
Preferred Qualification:
- Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) designation within the State of Illinois
