JOB TITLE: Cashier – Market

REPORTS TO: General Manager – Market

The Market Cashier is responsible for prompt, friendly service and accurately and efficiently completing guest cash, credit and complimentary transactions.

• 
  Offers exemplary guest service while completing cash, credit and complimentary transactions.
• Efficiently and accurately utilizes point of sale (POS) system to process guest party and/or payment information.
• Communicates politely and demonstrates courtesy and professionalism to all guests and internal team members.
• Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships.
• Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled.
• Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled.
• Prepares in advance materials and equipment needed for the service.
• Maintains a neat, presentable, organized and sanitary work area.
• Effectively manages internal and external guest relations, some of which will require levels of patience, tact and diplomacy. Responsible for addressing guest and team member issues as appropriate.
• Escalates to management any guest complaints that are not resolved immediately. Communicates to management guest compliments.
• Provides information on all aspects of available services and facilities for guests.
• Complies with all departments and company rules and regulations.
• Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.
• Always present oneself in a neat and clean appearance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• 
  Must be 21 years or older.
• High school Diploma or education equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with mobile devices and touch screen technology.
• Previous experience using Smart Phones and/or Tablets applications strongly preferred.
• Demonstrates commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct.
