Job Description and Responsibilities

A Halal Guys Cashier accurately and efficiently completes all sales transactions by itemizing and totaling customer's purchases, maintains proper cash levels, adheres to all company financial policies such as accurate pricing, credit card signing and loss prevention.

• Quickly acknowledge and warm greet guests with a genuine and pleasant smile at all times and thank them for their business.
• Actively listen to guest requests and maintain an eye contact with when speaking to guests
• Assists in maintaining store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising
• Adheres to all cash register operations (POS)
• Quickly learns all menu items and product information
• Maintains a professional, neat, and clean appearance

• Works with sense of urgency during rush hour while maintaining positive attitude
• Properly and accurately packs in-store and online orders & ensures that all items and supplies are included
• Ability to handle cashier functions including counting cash drawers, ensure change availability and process credit card transactions

• Promotes additional items to customer at checkout such as drinks, desserts, etc.,
• May assist in other light task as needed
