Shell Recharge Solutions is seeking a Category Manager!

Shell Recharge Solutions is looking for a Category Manager to join our team and be responsible for providing category management, market and spend analysis, and supplier management within the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) category.

What you’ll do:

• Own EVSE hardware categories:
  • Execute strategic sourcing with support of cross-functional teams and SMEs, aligned with company’s vision and stakeholder expectations,
  • Implement and manage operationalization of contracts, including maintenance of price data in ERP system
  • Maintain visibility into market trends and awareness of existing and future products
  • Understand supply chain issues related to category and recommend plans to address
  • Analyze spend and identify savings opportunities
• Support Commercial Team’s RFP responses as required
• Manage supplier performance within category:
  • Execute regular business performance reviews
  • Report out KPIs and metrics; identify any HSSE and performance issues and put in place necessary plans with suppliers to address issues
  • Develop and maintain a supplier scorecard
  • Manage claims resolution as required
• Liaise with vendors to ensure smooth commercial operations
• Support other categories and procurement activities as needed

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree with minimum 3-5 years of experience sourcing, negotiating and managing procurement contracts.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience negotiating commercial terms and conditions and developing contracts
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing supplier performance
• Strong focus on internal and external stakeholder management with agile responses
• Strong analytical ability and competence with Excel and other MS Office tools
• Demonstrable record of “passion and drive” working within a target-driven environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels, with the ability to solve complex problems and think outside the box
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with one or more of the following:
  • Hardware and/or electrical components
  • EVSE procurement
• Experience with Netsuite and Salesforce
• Passion for renewable energy and environmental issues
