CDL Driver Job Description

Multiple Commercial Driver Licensed (CDL) positions available, throughout Omni Environmental Solutions Various Business Units and Service Lines.

  • Class A, B – Professional Driver
  • Class A – Tanker
  • Class A, B, Hazmat Endorsed
  • Company and Owner Operator positions available
CDL drivers are responsible for the transportation of various types of commodities and equipment, in support of oilfield operations. CDL Drivers must be physically capable of performing job duties such as, but not limited to: safe operation of tractor trailers, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading various commodities at customer job sites, completing shipping papers, manifests, and Bill of Ladings, checking and maintaining the mechanical condition of Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV), and general knowledge of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Regulations. Our specialized trucks and trailers are built for the support of Oilfield Operations, which are inclusive but not limited to:

Mud Hauling Vacuum Truck Operations (Tank Skimming, Flowback, Saltwater)
Drill Cuttings Transportation End Dump
Frac Tank Transportation Winch Truck Services
Wireline Services Crane and Workover Rigs
Fluid & Chemical Mixing Plant Services Large Machinery & Equipment Transportation

Qualifications

  • Speak English
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Minimum 2 (two) years of Commercial Driving Experience
  • Possess Valid Commercial Driver's License, Class A or B
  • Medically Qualified – Valid Medical Examiners Certificate
  • Qualified Motor Vehicle Report
  • Pass Department of Transportation (DOT) Drug and Alcohol Test
Preferred but not required

  • Hazmat Endorsement
  • Tank Endorsement
  • Oilfield experience
  • Vacuum Truck experience
