A regional leading healthcare system located throughout the Cape region of Massachusetts is currently searching for a dynamic Supervisor of Central Scheduling and Financial Clearance to join their award-winning healthcare team.
Known as a regional leading provider of healthcare services, this organization combines nearly 500 Physicians and 5,500 employees across multiple hospital campuses, skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, and also a home health and hospice program. This organization strives to provide the highest quality of patient-centered care and to enhance the overall health and well-being of the surrounding communities.
Reporting to the Manager of Financial Clearance, the Supervisor will provide operational support to the Central Scheduling and Financial Clearance areas. The Supervisor will lead the daily operations, complete quality assurance and performance improvement reviews, manage follow-up activities with patients and physicians, ensure compliance and address areas of non-compliance, supports the Manager in the ongoing success of the department. The Supervisor is supported by the Scheduling, Pre-Registration, Scheduled Financial Counseling, and Financial Clearance teams.
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Scheduling or Financial Clearance
- Supervisory experience in hospital billing, registration, and regulatory systems
