We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a self-motivated CPA to perform financial documentation package review and develop a strategy to submit Employee Retention Tax Credit packages to our legal team intern who will submit these packages to the IRS. In this role, you will perform financial statement, payroll reporting and PPP reviews in order to calculate the potential credit each one of the law firm’s clients may be eligible for. You will be reviewing the documents submitted by the small business which will range in size from 5-100 employees. These business entities will be from all 50 states. This position is a contractor position where you will be employed as a CPA contractor to provide services to our company. We can provide free office space and you can also WFH-- those details we can discuss.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CPA

• Prepare strategy for ERC submissions to the IRS for each client.
• Review all of the applicable financial documents that clients will submit to complete the requirements for the application for an ERC refund.
• Work within our legal team environment to perform a prominent level of service for our clients

An ideal candidate demonstrates a prominent level of professionalism, is responsive and produces high quality work.

REQUIRED SKILLS FOR CPA:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting
• Handle high volume number of cases
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Adobe

REQUIRMENTS FOR STAFF AUDITOR:

• Certified Public Accountant licensed in Arizona, or 150-hour requirement met to qualify for CPA license.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently, and also collaborate with and lead other team members
• Solutions oriented, resourceful, with excellent problem-solving skills
